"National Museum of the Islamic Revolution & Holy Defense, a leading Museum"
National Museum of the Islamic Revolution and Holy Defense, as one of the unique museums in West Asia, by using modern technologies and interactive devices has recreated the scenes and places of the Holy Defense era.
Mojtaba Ebadifath; Head of International Affairs of National Museum of the Islamic Revolution and Holy Defense added: National Museum of the Islamic Revolution and Holy Defense has several major differences from other museums in the world. First; The mission defined for it is to promote the culture of sacrifice, resistance and revolutionary discourse. Basically, culture building is one of the most difficult issues for any institution. Culture-making can be considered a very gradual and time-consuming process, and unlike other museums, which are merely showcases, to display a series of artworks, National Museum of the Islamic Revolution and Holy Defense must be influential in terms of insight, belief and thinking. For this purpose, the museum has taken good steps in the last10 years, but still there is a long way to achieve the ultimate goal. At the international level we've had some achievements, such as introducing the National Museum of the Islamic Revolution and Holy Defense in international forums such as ICOM (International Council of Museums) and international tourism publications and websites.
Basically, the national museums of all countries have a special reputation and level among other museums. For example, "National Museum of Iran" is one of the oldest museums in Iran, which is dedicated to the display of historical and ancient artworks of Iran.
National Museum of the Islamic Revolution and Holy Defense is one of the leading military museums of Asia for two reasons. The first is the "museum area", which is about 22,000 square meters of museum infrastructure, which from this perspective is one of the largest military museums. The second is "the extent of technologies used in the museum", which introduced National Museum of the Islamic Revolution and Holy Defense as "the most modern museum in West Asia."
