PEACE THROUGH TOURISM FESTIVAL - National Museum of The Islamic Revolution & Holy Defense
The International Festival of Peace and Tourism began on World Peace Day with the participation of international speakers.
According to the report of Public Relations and International Affairs of National Museum of the Islamic Revolution and Holy Defense, September 21st is called the World Day of Peace by the United Nations, and various commemorations are held every year in different parts of the world. This year, due to COVID-19 pandemic, the International Institute for Peace through Tourism (IIPT) is holding a festival with the participation of National Museum of the Islamic Revolution and Holy Defense. In this festival, which started on September 21st (World Peace Day) and will continue until September 27th(World Tourism Day), every day at 2:00 PM (IRST), speakers from different parts of the world will give speeches and discuss various topics.
On the fourth day of the festival, which will be held on Saturday, September 25th, with moderation of National Museum of the Islamic Revolution and Holy Defense, the role of museums in peace education will be discussed.
